- Chinese School, 19th Century. "Ship Renown Otis White Master Entering Hong Kong Feb. 8th 1860". Magnificent example of a China Trade ship portrait depicting the American clipper ship Renown off the coast of Hong Kong. A tremendous amount of shiping activity, including paddlewheelers and other clippers, is taking place in the port. Unsigned. Housed in its original Chinese Chippendale frame. Built in Newburyport, Massachusetts in 1858 for Howes & Crowell of Boston, the Renown was part of the firm's large fleet of clippers used in the California and Orient trades. Oil on canvas, 28" x 39". Framed 38" x 49". Estimate: $ 80,000 - $ 120,000

- Chinese School, 19th Century. "Ship Ringleader John P. White Master Entering Hong Kong Feb. 1860". Unsigned. Housed in its original Chinese Chippendale frame. The Ringleader was built in Medford, Massachusetts for the firm of Howes & Crowell of Boston in 1853. Oil on canvas, 30.25" x 44.5". Framed 40" x 54". Estimate: $ 70,000 - $ 100,000

- Thomas Birch, Pennsylvania, (1779 - 1851): "A Treacherous Cove". Circa 1830. Signed and dated indistinctly lower right "T. Birch 18". Titled on frame plaque. Oil on canvas, oval 31" x 36". Framed 37" x 43". Estimate: $ 40,000 - $ 60,000

- Montague Dawson (British, 1890 - 1973): The Night Ferry. Signed lower left "Montague Dawson". Estimate: $ 40,000 - $ 60,000

- Complete Set Of The Voyages Of Captain Cook In Eight Volumes, Plus Atlas Volume. A uniformly bound set, all Q with three-quarter calf bindings with marbled boards and morocco spine bands, save for the larger folio atlas volume bound in a similar style. All volumes contain plates, charts and maps, some folding. Estimate: $ 20,000 - $ 30,000
